Per Hüttner’s performance Duet with a Dying Plant is a one-hour-long improvised musical interaction between the artist and a dying plant. Sounds are generated by placing electrodes on the plant and on a voluntary audience member’s skull. The sounds are generated by l real time measurements from human and plant. The two sounds intertwine, affect both performers and create feedback loops between them.
